ZAKES MOKAE Zakes Mokae, 75, an actor and director, of Las Vegas and South Africa, pa**ed away Friday, Sept. 11, 2009. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and later trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, in London, England. Zakes was considered one of the most distinguished thespians in South Africa for over two decades. Mokae was one of the few actors capable of crossing the racial barriers in South Africa. He and his collaborating friend, playwright, Athol Fugard, together, founded the Rehearsal Room Theatre Company, in South Africa, during the 1950's. Their productions dealt with their country's injustices. Zakes came to the United States with his American-born wife, Madelyn, whom he met and married in London, England. He later became an American Citizen. He has appeared in numerous critically acclaimed U.S. productions, including "The Blood Knot," "Boesman and Lena," along with James Earl Jones and Ruby Dee, for which they won the Obie's Awards, "A Lesson From Aloes," "Master Harold and the Boys," for which he received the 1982 Tony Award on Broadway, and again Tony nominated for "The Song of Jacob Zulu," in 1994. Television productions have included "A Different World," "Roots, Part II," "West Wing" and "Monk." Zakes was an actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company and the British National Theatre. Films included "A Dry White Season," "Cry Freedom," "Outbreak," "Serpent and the Rainbow," "A Rage in Harlem" and "Waterworld." He and Danny Glover founded The Black Actors Theater in San Francisco, in 1980. He was directing theatre productions in Las Vegas before retiring. Zakes was a directing Fellow with the American Film Institute. As an adjunct professor, at the University of Las Vegas, during his tenure, he produced and directed five plays, including "The Last Being" and "A Road to Mecca." Mokae is survived by his wife, of 43 years, Madelyn J. Mokae.

Kwaito star Zola is threatening to sue his former manager and business partner Lance Stehr.
More than a year ago Zola and Stehr had a fallout over the ownership of Ghetto Ruff, a record company they co-own.

Zola left Ghetto Ruff to start his own company, Guluva Entertainment, but he still owns a 20% share in Ghetto Ruff.

But now the poet, actor and singer real, name, Bonginkosi Dlamini, alleges that Ghetto Ruff crooked him by keeping valuable information from him.

He believes Stehr also cheated him out of a lot of money.

He says he signed his contract when he was 20 and back then he knew nothing about the industry.

The singer says ever since then he was kept in the dark about his business affairs – until May last year.

“Other people had control over my business and they never informed me of anything.

“When I went my own way after my fallout with Lance I discovered a lot of things I was not supposed to know.

“I don’t wish for any artist alive to go through what I have gone through,” says Zola.

Guluva Entertainment business a**ociate Graham Gilfillan says under the circumstances there is nothing much he can say.

He says for now Guluva is in the process of concluding an investigation into the relationship between Zola and Ghetto Ruff.

He says: “It’s unfortunate that the situation had to reach this point.”

Zola is adamant that he won’t rest until the people responsible rot in jail.

He says they are criminals and criminals belong in jail.

“I want my millions back and everything that belongs to my name,” he says.

Stehr says: “It’s sad that Zola feels this way, but what can I say?”

He says if there are any problems that need to be sorted out they can be sorted out very easily.

But he says Zola never signed any contract with Ghetto Ruff.

“I don’t know what he is talking about.

“He must have gone crazy.

“Zola never attended business meetings and everybody knows what he is like.”

DON'T FLASH HEADLIGHTS AT ANY CAR WITH NO LIGHTS ON!!

Police officers working with the DARE program have issued this Warning:

If you are driving after dark and see and on-coming car with no headlights on,
 DO NOT FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT THEM!

  This is a common Bloods member "initiation game" that goes like this:

The new gang member under initiation drives along with no headlights, and the first car to flash their headlights at him is now his "target.”     He is now required to turn around and chase that car, then shoot and kill every individual in the vehicle in order to complete his initiation requirements. Police Depts. across the nation are being warned. Their intent is to have all the “new bloods nationwide drive around on Friday and Saturday nights with their headlights off.

In order to be accepted into the gang, they have to shoot and kill all individuals in the first auto that does a courtesy flash to warn them that their lights are
Off.   Make sure you share this information with all the drivers in your
Family!

I thought this was a scam myself, But two weeks after receiving this
e-mail and forwarding it on. Microsoft contacted me for my address and
within days, I receive a check for $24, 800.00. You need to respond
before   the beta testing is over. If anyone can afford this, Bill gates
is the  man.
It's all marketing expense to him.. Please forward this to as many people
