As I suspected, whats on the news about whats going on there is mostly propaganga(just like Ghadahfi). Most shocking is the HUGE role Aljazeera played in the propaganga.

Movie Talk / When The Levees Broke - Dir Spike Lee
« on: April 04, 2011, 09:16:15 AM »
Documentary

Quote
In August 2005, the American city of New Orleans was struck by the powerful Hurricane Katrina. Although the storm was damaging by itself, that was not the true disaster. That happened when the city's flooding safeguards like levees failed and put most of the city, which is largely below sea level, underwater. This film covers that disastrous series of events that devastated the city and its people. Furthermore, the gross incompetence of the various governments and the powerful from the local to the federal level is examined to show how the poor and underprivileged of New Orleans were mistreated in this grand calamity and still ignored today.

If you believed its the hurricane that caused the major disaster in New Orleans, you are misinformed. Watch this and you'll see. I really recommend that you watch it. Its very long though. more than 4 hours long.

If you're black your life ain't worth shit.

Big ups to Spike Lee for this one.

@RR nah hommie I also can stand those slang editorial Cappadona bitches...

what I am however concerned about is about being stuck with strange niggaz...BUT its a Friday so I will let that slide!

lol

The other nigga knows the girl, had met dude earlier that day. the other dude's is the first dude friend who had the car and was introduced to me that night. See, I can live the life of hanging out with strangers here in CT but joburg is shady. The driver dude was just too Yizo-Yizo for me so it all the time I was just sitting there ready to get robbed by two niggas and a girly girl.

Fck if I were to live in Joburg I'd feel like a snob.  :)

I went there but never got in, was hanging around outside the venue with 3 strangers(long story) who brought me there but they had no money to get so I thought, the music was loud enough from outside so i'll just hangout here. No way im paying(R100) for the two niggas(I just dont trust joburg niggas at all), I cant remember what I thought of the girl at the time but she spoke slang quite comfortably for a girly girl. I do remember that on my way home I discovered she carried a condom with her.

Oh snap I remember now how I met the girl. I first met her at the last years CT Jazzfestival took her number then hooked up when I came to Jozi for back to the city.

I dont know about yall but for me its weird hearing a girl say, "so' bloma hie" on choosing a table at a restaurant.

briCK I know what you thinking. save it.

General Discussion / Request: Greatest Concepts collection
« on: March 31, 2011, 04:35:18 PM »
Around 2005/6 I think, someone hooked up a Greatest Concepts collection. I think it was 5 or 6 volumes. I had all of them but I lost that with a lot of other music.

Are you familiar with this collection? Do you have it and can you hook a brother up?

Tuboy:Saigon did his thing on that album, what are your favourite tracks there?

Me: its hard to say, its how the album is put together so far I dont have a favorite, I'm loving the feeling the album gives me. so the songs together make me enjoy the album, not the songs individually, at least not yet.
