Its been a while i ain't said a thing up here.
MOFF G will soon be on air at the above mentioned radio station. The station will be youth orientated, focusing on playing 60% local music (urban). The station will broadcast 24hrs in tswana, english and afrikaans.
Dj Lemonka is the station manager nd founder of this youthful venture in the north west.

let me not dwell too much into detail nd let you read up on it from our website.

the station is based in my hometown Lehurutshe with a wide coverage of upto Mafikeng, Licthenburg, Madikwe nd surrounds. We aim to serve the youth and bring competition to the current state of radio and entertainmemt in the North West.

Back at it again with another love Jams. MOFF G has released his latest mixtape titled; FROM SIR WITH LOVE(a minitape). This is for the lovers out der, it is a blend of mellow flow and laid back beats, those that help set the mood for everyman.
MOFF G goes at it explaining his personal love journey and his love declaration on MY ALL. He further explains the importance of love in this day and age, and breaks the barriers for those who usually find themselves tongue tied when they have to say those dreadful words: I LOVE U, the track Loving You was produced by Lebzotic. This is the inspiration for the whole minitape. DJ King K Kinetics, makes his way on the production list when MOFF tries to connect with his long lost love but the girl seems to keep “MISSING that CALL”.MOFF further states the dangers of being a player and his devotion to his mate on a track called GROUPIE LUV.
This is a personal love journey taken by the robotic emcee, showcasing his love for HIP HOP and for the lady in his life, Precious.

The sun will set on this here a town and it will unleash a beast within the industry, GDR is that beast.
With a lineup of dope emcees who are all hungry and eager to prove they worth on the microphone, with metaphors that breaks barriers. This mix tape is a promotional showcase of skills that will in the months to come be circulating the net, radio and TV waves.
The project in almost its entirety is produced by LEBZOTIC THE BEAT DON.  This is the 1st project that dude has taken upon his belt. He has been producing beats for a while now, only till that time when certain emcees started taking note of his and then took it to the next level.
MOFF G is an emcee of note who has been rapping since his high school years; this is the 1st actual break following up on the fallen projects in the past. This is paving the way for his official drop, which will be before the end of this year. MOFF is currently working on his EP (CYBER CIPHER; THE PHANTOM MENACE)
Black Soulyrist is another emcee representing the Vaal, with his raw spits and the vocabulary that can make professors jealous, he is to take the rhyme scene by storm. Black is currently busy at GDR studios working on his introductory EP (7 SPIRITS), A poetical album. He also features on the forth coming EP by MOFF G.
Mr. Lwija is an EC based emcee who brings in that old school flavor to THE DON’s beats. Lwija is currently compiling his own solo project which he says like any good brew, it will take time in the cellar. In the meantime he is compiling that, do enjoy his sounds on this a mix tape. VOCAB represents the Vaal and berendlegacy productions. He appears here courtesy of his own will. Look out for dude he is on point.

General Discussion / tours in SA

with the recently published revenue of established Hip Hop cats on the Forbes Magazine, i thought; how is it that the south african Hip Hop industry seems not to embrace this idea of tours?

we now have platforms that monitors the artists interaction with the fans, yes it is a risky business which sponsors is dragging they feet to embrace, but what is it that makes sponsors be like this?
is it the manner in which we artists potray ourselves, as drunkards?
is it the lack of marketing skills from artists' management?
what is it that can be blamed for this?

if u compare what makes an artist in the U.S and realise that the A&R out there puts and fronts they artists so much they in your face. tours is the bread winner, they start 'em off with college tours, then evolve this to something bigger, headlining for a "Rock the bells" alongside big name acts.
we on the other hand just sit back and hope that we do get a gig someday, and yet HHP never tours around the country, for me(or any unknown act) to think i'll rock alongside him in my hometown.

what does it take to pull off a successful nation wide or provincial tour??

one of my boys is hosting a radio show based here in randburg. the aim of the show is to highlight the new talent and to promote those new to the market and those looking to up they game.

emcees is urged to post a link or material to the mixtapes or current projects. to qualify u need to atleast have 5 tracks, mixed mastered and ready for radio play.
u must be able to make it to Randburg for interviews.
most concerns were raised as for those who cannot make it thru for interviews( response still pending).

i will keep u posted on further developments.

okay here goes: the host/producer of this new on air radio show for a community radio station based in randburg is lookin at hip hop artist(not signed to a major) to send thru they material for revie and if he likes what he gets, backed by the artist profile as well, he will arrange for an interview on air. Participants must be willing to come thru to randburg for interviews.

this show is focused on promoting new artists and getting them airplay. this will help those individuals and groups when it comes to they media profile.

QUALIFICATIONS
* unsigned to a major
*have a mixtape or a project currently circulating.
*be willing to come thru for the on air interview.
*must be new/unknown to the industry and looking to promote their material.
