Salute AG fam. Let's soldier on. I was chilling during my holiday listening to the regal, great Miriam Makeba and one of her songs "African Convetion" came on and I immediately thought about this project. It would be a shame if we dont do it justice fam!
Thats still an open topic Tang. We need a volunteer for the mixing and mastering. I should make a list of all the open topics then we can take it from there.
Plz record and send your track in the meantime as we (re-)build this project's momentum.
Have deadlines and responsibilities (mixing, mastering, etc) been set up or do we still need that discussion?

Beats - 11 (2 officially taken)
Tracks - 1 Entry (2 in the works)
Shoutouts/Drops - 0
Promises - 18710x
Seriously the response to the idea has been encouraging guys and gals. On the production side it has been great. So thanks to the beat makers!!!
Thanks for the concepts and suggestions too.
There is a lack of urgency to pen and record songs though.
There also still various issues to iron out such as quality control, deadline control, mastering, publishing, etc but at least we got the ball rolling.
Looking forward to putting this together when 2013 is upon us.

« on: November 21, 2012, 05:59:30 PM »just a quick question, is it really a MUST to get rappers from "AG" to jump on this project, cos to be honest, dudes are sleeping on these beats we tossin, i have a bunch of dope from Mozambique, Nigeria and Malawi who arent "AGians" that want to jump on those beats by Trompie, but i gotta know, before i give em the go ahead to record, will they be put on???
I feel that its a cool idea but I would say lets give our "own" rappers a few more weeks to get on the beats. After mid December lets campaign for the rest of the "diaspora" to join in.
What do you'll say?
Brick, Cash, etc have promised to lace these beats.
