nice to hear some new Lord Finesse! Still mad Prince Paul decided to waste his verse on a song with Linkin Park(wtf?).
not feeling freddie foxx, nor the beat. this should be left off the album. Premier should use Pete Rock's first soul survivor as a blueprint. now those were some dope a** beats complimented by some dope emcees.
Come on Primo, show them why "You're Da Man".

I heard the sampled original while I was waiting for a train someday and I was thinking damn that's a beautiful track but I dont know its name. Was hoping that one of yall have the liner notes?
Personally, I enjoy Jewelz more because I heard it before I got hold of Word..Life. I know the latter is supposed to be cla**ic but Jewelz has that nolstagic feel to it when I listen to it. Am I making sense? Have the same feeling about "It was written" and Illmatic. Even though the other is considered technically inferior I have more fond memories attached to it. :?
