Has anyone noticed that its been a slow start to 2005,like a lot of people are still on some kinda "go slow...too broke to bother" kinda vibe even here on AG the kinda subjects that are on forums and stuff...even the media...there´s nothing that´s like Bang! its the new year..

i guess people will be happier after the end of the month,we can celebrate chinese new year in february when people have more ching ching in their wallets , a pep in their step and varsity students are back!!

yes, gay people can finally get married in South Africa, i think its cool ,i know the church is going to go nuts over this ...once again to each his own and i´ve also realised how homophobic the hip hop community tends to be...that´s an issue for another day...its also world aids day don´t have anything new to say about that...

If you listen to yfm you´ve heard about Selwyn´s intention to protest against his record label for postponing his album release.I wanna Know if he did actually toyi toyi outside Galo and if you guyz think it will help.I reckon he should tread softly, be carefull not to bite the hand that feeds him. :-?

SA hip hop has grown but record companies still don´t wanna come to the party the reason being the sales don´t really reflect the growth.this is my idea,i reckon that mcs should come together and form a network/movement...for example hhp and baphixile have the same kinda lyrical content and flow, they appeal to the same market coz  of the setswana content  they should  promote their albums together.

Ok,what i see is that almost every week there´s an MC dropping an independent release,my suggestion is find other people like you and promote your stuff together,if there´s rivalry there´s no use fighting over crumbs when you can eat the pie,anyway this will make record companies take notice and some of you may actually enter the big time.Trusenz just dropped,Konfab is about to drop ,the HYPOCALYPSE mix tape is about to drop...coordinate your efforts guys,hold events together...in unity there´s strength...look at the US hip hop conscious movement ...most people who bought Common,bought the roots,talib kweli,mos  def ....nuff said

i read a couple of articles on iol.co. za which were also in the Cape Argus about an increase in gangasterism  among school kids around the mannenburg area,  i´m not from cape town and i´d like to find out if anyone who reads this has a direct experience of it and if music,particularly rap/gangster rap is an influence in this culture .

it is becoming my observation that this forum has become a dump for loosers who are always complaining about bitches,how they hate them, love to have them etc.... truth be told ,it´s beginning to weigh me down! that´s my thought and my plea.

start a support group or PLEASE CHILL ! @ least for a while.

on radio metro this morning, Glenn Lewis declared today man´s day .So , happy man´s day to the brothas on this forum...even though you´ve got issues  we try to understsand but can never fully comprehend, you can be amusing and sometimes interesting ,no matter how you treat women we all know you all came from women and it is the life quest of most of you to return from whence you came.
