i liked it ...tite track but i have to say this...personally i like science fiction because my mind lends itself to concepts like that ....would i buy your cd if i heard this track as a first single, my honest answer would be no...i still like it ...i guess that's the bisexual truth...hey....


the reason being ...i wouldn't be able to share it ,most people would find the concepts over their heads...i know ...the track is called a beautiful mind and there was a movie of the same name and i didn't go see it when it was showing on the big screen ,in the same breath i saw it more than once when it was playing on satelite tv...

You've got skillz no doubt about that ...your probably smart too ...the way i see it

the return of the sith is adveritsed  by ster-kinekor for this coming friday...its finally here.I saw on tv yesterday people  in the states camping outside a movie theatre 'cause they wanted to be the first few people to see it, i wouldn't go that far but if its premiering this weekend ,i'm gonna  see it .

I'm sooooooooo excited

just to sidetrack a bit...

 ...has anyone seen xxx2, x-zbit is so funny ,well i don't think it was intentional...he speaks his lines like he would spit a verse and Ice cube looks hot...the brother looks like  he's been chipping rocks instead of lifting weights...the effort didn't go unnoticed....and there's a scene where they use" need for speed " tv game graphics ,that's also funny...all that said ,i say give me ice cube than Vin diesel anyday...

Yeah he is "mad" funny. I like the way he puts hiphop artists at the end of his shows. I heard the season 2 DvD hits the street? I need it.

 :lol:  :lol: now he's "mad" mad, it was written in the some sunday paper that he  was spotted at USHAKA and now he's in joburg.I wonder if i'd recognise him because he looks like your ordinary brother from around the way,he'd just blend with the rest...maybe that's why he's here,to just be a normal brother and not be expected to be a funny all the time.

Well, he's doing most of the album with the exception of one that JayDee did.

I think hooked up with Kanye cause of the heat Kanye is bringing and the fact that Kanye has a major respect for him, and vice versa.Also will help sales.I agree bout the similar sound to John Legends thing.But then again, I think the production took place in and around the same time for both albums so u can expect one to rub off on the other.Happens many times.

Ok, I guess sales is not the only reason he hooked up with Kanye West...looking forward to it

i've only heard the Corner remix and food i liked them...but isn't Kanye producing the whole album?

I'm a common fan, i didn't like his last album though but it was because of the  Badu  influence...now that its over he's more focused on what's important , bad relationships can ruin your career...I wonder if there's a track about that in his album...

Anyway, looking forward to it  ,  i'm in no hurry though...Kanye West it still doing his thing,the beats on "the corner" are too similar to the one's he did for John Legend.

I hope it sells ,that's the only reason he's hooked up with Mr West...
Common is still Common Sense  and i reckon he's alltogether lovely

SOWETO is on there in the original mix,

about the different producers on the album,  it might lack coherence but for me it has achieved the desired result ,if that was to showcase  Prokid's skills ...as a debut album its pretty tight.

@childakapoet, the album is not supposed to say anything to you,its just supposed to sound nice ....nice beats and a tight a** emcee that's it! kapoet!

I'd like to see it sell because Prokid is one of the better emcees out there and even if you like one track its worth buying.

about Galo intefering , i think its Syd money ,the album was released in conjunction with his label... he's cool as a model as an emcee, i don't know!

How come no one has mentioned Skwatta Kamp (yet Luda seems to be many's favaourite)? & what about MY MAN. He's about to blow up.

I'll go for  Kanye West & Missy Eliot. P Diidy used to be one of my favourites.

I cant stand Nelly & Crazy lu.

I hope he blows up into oblivion, not looking forward to that at all...after someone translated his xhosa lyrics from IDC for me ,what I'm looking forward to is more SK solo projects, has anyone heard Slick's solo tip...haven't heard it yet but that's more interesting than Mr IDC...frankly i don't care either!
