Producers - Discussion / Cleanin' out my (Alesis Drumkit) Closet!!!

Well, some may find this useful, others not.But hey, its free so why complain.I enjoyed it for a little while.Been a lot of redundancy and duplication as I've come to realize while cleaning out my closet.Then stumbled upon this Alesis DM5 drumkit of mine.Was in MPC format (hence never really used it before) but I converted it 2 wav and now u can enjoy it.I dont think u'll find use for all the samples, but many of the percussion samples will be useful.Didnt rename them, so u'll hear by their sound what they are and u can name them accordingly.Its on yousentit so the kit will be up for a week then I guess, according to yousendit.

PS kit split into RAR folders of less than 2MB's each for easier DL. :arrow:

I think if done correctly, it comes off nicely.Its kinda like the Rican Kwaito.Seriously is.Its str8 party but it has a vibe to it.What I dont like is the fact that almost everyone is cashing in on the style and watering it down.So it loses some of its spark.But when the Ricans do it, they do it nice.Like the Wyclef and Shakira "Jimmy Rivera sampled" Hips Dont Lie.What I dont like about this song though is the vocal mix.Its just so uneven.Works on my nerves when I listen to it critically like many other songs.But the melody is catchy.

Btw, its been speculated that Fruity is the core of all real Reggaeton tracks.

Yeah, WC matches are not letting up.They all so darn tight and exciting but I think a lacing would be very nice indeed. :wink:
