abt the ct hip hop scene i must say i also got blown away when i 1st landed here and seen the shit cats was on this side... after having lived in the j it was certainly a change not necessarily better or worse but from mc pov definitely more conducive to just going crazy experimental and not really giving a f*** just putting full persona into joint getting carried away artistically and all and all... i know there's some proper shit on the j-sec streets as well i mean my fav mcs the b sharpas and gin grinds all hail from... i think this jozi/ct and commercial/underground distinction kinda sucks maybe a new kind of genre cla**ification needed to set them apart cos THEY NOT THE SAME THING!
