i guess iv made it pretty clear where i stand with this cats production.its always left much to be desired for me,but iv never hated on cats for appreciating his stuff.back to the reason for this post...i heard this track he laced for hhp called walk on by,im convinced its a diana ross sample.he freaked the hell out of that joint!i havent been able to get that ish out my head! props!

Its Dione Warwick's song. I thought it was a really poor sampling job. Nothing much was done to the original sample.

I'm not sure if Aretha did it too, but its mos def the Dionne version thats used.I should know, I always liked the Dionne track.And yes, used it the same.Its already a good song, so just taking it and looping it will retain that good vibe so thats why ppl liking it I guess.Also, Isaac has done this track too in his own way.Very very nice.I'mma see if I can locate the Dionne one again and upload it for peeps to compare with the HHP version.
