An evening of Mellow Jazz and Funk vibes.Cape Town-based Neo-jazz artist Wesley Solomon will be performing at the Intimate Theatre, Hidding
Campus (UCT) this Saturday from 7pm.It is a special performance
showcasing some of his material off his debut album which is currently
heavily in production stage.His current single "Amplifide by You" is
riding high on Heart FM in Cape Town, and fresh on the heels of his
successful radio single "Scribe Me" which featured on Going Nowhere
Slowly.

The gig venue: Intimate Theatre, Hidding Campus (UCT)
Cover charge: R30
Starts at: 7:30pm for 8pm

Yeah its gonna be a good one.Wesley always delivers.He's got a really mellow voice.And its well suited for that Michael Franks vibe too, of which he may do one cover.He always does at least 2 covers in his own vibe.......its really nice.

Btw, maybe u can meet up with him when he comes to JHB.More than likely it'd be mid-year.Unconfirmed.......possible gig discussions and some networking.Will keep ppl posted.

Yeah man, thats my dude.He keeps his set simple.........nothing extreme, but if u wanna sit with him and wild out (not during his set, but lets say in studio or something)..........he can go heavy jazzy if u want on a track.But he's veered clear of that...........many ppl dont seem to understand that heavy jazz too well.But he keeps it nice man.
