WORD guy...

i lost a (deep pocketed) client earlier this year...
bought me a 250GB HDD on 29.04.2006.. and on 29.05.2006 the damn thing crashed...
i had just spent the 20 days prior to that constructing a website and i haven't backe dup anything (yet)...
i had only the blueprint in my head, and eventually missed the deadline as promised and had to give the deposit back..

so yeah.. i feel you when you say BAKDUFUKUP !!!!

I work alot with USB's and most of my work is saved on that, So earlier this year I designed a website it was worth a good 10 gran but never backed the shit up! The client got mad when I missed his deadline and ever since then I always have two copies of everything. And after reading all the stories here, f*** Im going to back-up 2day.

Got myself an external 120GB drive the other day. Backed up everything onto that, the beats,vocals, Albums ( almost 700 of them), videos ( almost 500 of them). Now a nigga can relax.

Hi I'm 18 from Pta, & I produce with reason. I felt an urge to back up about 3 weeks back repeatedly after my Pc started acting up... jst a bit. I always keep my beats on my co-producer's Pc & so i arranged to do so as i couldnt back errthing up [on a 160GB HDD] coz of matric exams. Last thurs, the 160GB crashed. Sadly my other 2 40Gigs are empty coz I was so excited I got a new 160 GB 3 months ago, I put all 3GB of music, all my samplesd shit, & my 20GB of vid & errthing else i save on that HDD. So I am now naked. Luckily I only lost 1 beat coz I manage to salvage the file but not the samples. So learn from my mistake a**hole:

At least I didnt loose cleitns 4 the beats they wanted. I'm yet to back my new shit up... but soon. PLS BTFU
