Friday is just about as good a day as any to reminisce..about the good old days.
I would love to know,
What was the first album you ever bought - CD , Vinyl or ca**ette.

Mine was : Public Enemy - Muse Sick N Hour Mess Age ( Music and our message) on CD -  You've got to give it up was my "put on repeat track".

I'm a huge enemy fan, but that's probably the album I liked least, to put it nicely.

My first 2 vinyls came together at R3 a pop, one was a break dance album and the other IceT's reckless.
o the right thing. It will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

You guys r probably gonna diss the hell out of me for this but since this is about being honest I'll confess and say the first record I ever bought was the vinyl for that Vanilla Ice album "To the Extreme".

I used to love ""Ice Ice babe".

Hey what did I know I was only ten years old and that was the hottest shit on the radio.

I nagged my parents for it tell they got it for me.

In an effort to restore my cred I'll say I was also listening to Eric B and Rakim and some underground NY tapes that an older uncle I lived with had at the time.

But the truth is the first "Hip-Hop" I actually bought was Vanilla Ice.
I stay chiseled

I saved up money from delivering newspapers to buy various mixtapes from NYC when I was about 11 years old,,, but the first vinyl I bought was Criminal Minded (both versions - vocals and instrumentals). Still have them.
