for some reason I don't feel like it's bad news. I've recently been thinking maybe LB should start working with other types of beats and a just a little with 9th otherwise I was just gonna get bored with them. 9th did some real hot beats for them but hey... they got to move on... for the sake of keeping me as a big fan

as much as 9th beats have become generic, for his part he made the group WHAT it was...

cats were not liking LB because they were kicking sick,flows or dope concepts..the SUM of the group made it dope.

yo man frankly i love Phonte's throw-away style, he's the main reason i like LB, cos 9th's beats have been repetitive for a minute now.

. I think Phonte holds it down for the group, loved how he killed the Kev Brown joint, it jus shows he don't need 9th's wack beats. I don't know bout Pooh though, not a fan, but i hope they will try out a different apporach, 9th gotta go switch up his shit, this is a blessing in disguise for him.

Little Brother without 9th is not going to work. A Tribe Called Quest with Shaheed moved to the background didn't work, Death Row without Dre, Kweli without Hi-Tek, etc...

Synergy? - The Whole is Greater than the Sum of its parts. I feel LB as a GROUP worked great even though the producer & the emcees had their individual flaws. gree with Msanii on that one.

Phonte over someone else's beats? - 2 Words: Foriegn Exchange

Pooh over someone else's beats? - Sleepers was DOPE (just friends/ Now ft Murs) Pooh an average mc but makes good music.

9th's work outside of LB hasn't been phenomenal but he has had some bangers. This will allow him growth & exposure through high profile guests.

Overall LB losses synergy but I still see mad potential for them with cats like Nicolay & Khrysis still in the fray (Was "Watch Me" not one of the better joints on the Minstrel Show?).

We will watch & see.
And Justus for All drops Feb 13th.

^^ this is true, the chittlin circuit mixtape was mostly khrysis and nicolay and that shit banged HARD! 8O I dont see this as problem.
