The going price is R7000. Only 265 have been graded as Mint state coins to date. Of these 5 graded as ms 65 and 101 as ms 63. The article that appeared in the World Coin News in the USA indicates that the Mint state coins often ends up being rarer than Proof coins. The cost of grading the coin is R500 plus R5. The seller is obviously somebody who has no knowledge of rare coins. I suggest that you buy the coin immediately. if you can get it at that price. You did notice that that was the starting price with increments of R50.
