You kno how it is when cats hype up a product,then u finally get to hear it,it comes out as average?Thats what happened here.Not takin anything away,its a good album. mrc dismantled that track and came off strongest! big up to bk,impecable sound quality!!!

I don no man, for me it felt like BattleKat didn't do justice to the Beats & it kinna felt like I was listenin' to the same beat ova & ova again, wit not much change(s). Yea! I mean, don get me wron'. I do Respect him as an mc/ producer. So on that version trac 07. ON - XRate, 12. Vibin - Reason & the rest to the end, those were the one fo me. Check this one Belo? The Remix Now this one fillz like a Clasick & I'm luvin' the whole album now...

I met Battlekat last week Friday and he gave me a copy of Beats Against The Beast.

I was focusing more on the beats and not the lyricists on the project, seeing that it's Battlekat's project, and Battlekat  is a producer.

Battlekat has definately stepped up in terms of sampling, but his drums are too defined, which gets too me. I'm not hating tho. The album was dope, too dope actually, it's just the drums man...

But Battlekat has clearly matured on this one, well done mate

hehe... yeah right...i dont feel any maturity on this joint, not at all...its one of the biggest let down only surpa**ed by the Hipocalypse mixtape....now that sucked major...

I feel what you saying ASD, sometimes they sound a bit too SQUARE if you know what i mean. I like my drums a bit loose sometimes. I think Nyambo got some of the best drum sequences ever.

For me the best beat on the album has got to be that Reason joint.
