HOME STUDIO QUESTION

I'm cash-strapped but looking to buy a mic for a basic home studio. One option I am considering is buying a Samson C01 USB condensor mic (ie I would not have to go through a preamp) - not ideal, I know, but saves cash and may work for my purposes (vocals).

Is this a workable solution as opposed to a straight mic and a preamp?

try and look for a c1 Behringer mic which retails for about $ 100 here in africa with shipping and all that. the preamp for this costs about the same, so its good value.

Possibly. That's a nice mic why you getting rid? Or voetstoots ask none tell none?

Do you have spider cradle or stand etc?

the mic is in mint condition. I only have the mic and cable, in its original box.

I'm selling iot because I took it from some kid as a "debt repayment" and since I dont rap or record anymore, I have no need for it.
