Deadly games part 1

There was this player I used to kick it with as a little kid.
We were raised studs and didn’t give a shit.
We’d chill at the right corners and cross ideas

Then came a time to expand our field.
Throw in guns and drugs. Strike a scam and deal.

But after few lives were lost in shoot-outs with cops
i pulled up my socks and thought out the box.
Told him..."Kid you don’t have a shot!!!
You should know when to stop! You going over the top!
Your attempts will end across bars, with cop cars it’s endless!"

He took offence to that and raised his defences.
He says it’s lies and for us to stay alive he’ll take the dive. In fate it lies.
So he stays on the prowl, playing around. But eventually stays on the ground!

Turns out someone blew the whistle on him.
A victim of sins and and the sinister grin.
Now he’s put on the spot they questioning him.
About to pay the penalty for him and his men.
