It means that we'll be hearing even more dirt on our soon to be president and possibly even our current president.
Now that we are acting independent of the ANC there's no obligation to be biased. Hopefully there'll be a lot more objectivity but I feel that''ll be too much to ask.

Brilliant. About time. There is a lot of work still to do, but you've got to give the government props for this; at least they've taken the initiative and, if the facts of the story are correct, you have to respect them for that.

We'll see how it pans out.

yeah, Hov' Ey'hlekisa has been voicing his concerns about the state of media for a long time. this could mean anything...an honest move to free media and change is for the greater benefit of south africans OR the continuation of the perceived "purge" of all who have wronged he and his alles in the past...starting with the beeld//was it rapport...but on the real, f*** rapport...Jigga got a machine gun! run!!!!

If anything this just proves that Dali was (STILL IS) Mbeki's lap dog. This only means that now that Zuma is the leader they will be free to talk all the crap they can about him, because they are no longer ANC's mouthpiece. Double standards if you ask me. The SABC is loyal Mbeki but not to the ANC.
So brace yourselves the minute Zuma makes the slightest mistake the SABC will be on it.
