We were all young when we started listening to rap and we dressed like them, walked like them, and called each other nigger. (Some peole still do)

Personally I have no problem with the word. Seriously. I'll have less respect for a white guy who raps along to a song and keeps shut when the word nigger comes up...

I'm so tired of this nigger argument. It's almost as played out as the "Hip Hop is dead" debate.

Agree with Premier, and honestly I'm not even anticipating Nas album solely because of the production credits but on his raps. guess nas is tryin to deconstruct the word and strip it of its negative connotations,I hope he goes through wit it history in the making.

PS(I don't give a f*** who said it cause a word is powerless unless some one tries to give it power, so if someone says a word that'll make u fight, cry, pout, and fart that just shows me that person has some individual problems on the inside so, I like the fact the nas is doing dis to show people dis ain't shit.)
