sell out to the game or variety?

a lot af katz are now collaborating with artists from other genres like rock, kwaito......etc. then obviuosly a new sound or flava or style will come out  then we not getting the raw hiphop sound in there, this can be a good thing but when duz variety turn into sum else and not hiphop? is this being creative or is it being a sell-out to the game?   


sum people have argued that JR is not a hiphop kat but a 'border-line kwaito star'

its a good thing for any genre to be mixed with others coz it opens it up to a wider audience...

But then u get artists that claim to be doing one thing whereas there sound is totally different.
There is no true hip hop, its just depends on ur own personal taste
