The only reason that I bring up whether or not you've actually been to the US... you would know that the educated black people in the US are the ones looking to find out about their roots and where they come from...

The stupid hood niggaz niggers look down on anything African. They think they're better. They're broke.. but they will descriminate againts an African based on the idea that he's African. If any of you run into Amu or Ish.. as them about that shit. I got some amazing video footage of ignorant US people looking down on Africans. No one said hip hop was from Africa. My point is that the origins of hip hop music are in Africa. Americans used that influence and came up with something new.

The founding father of hip hop, DJ Kool Herc, was a Jamaican who emigrated to the States when he was 12. The Americans took his shit, ran with it and made it their own.

Why can't we take what hip hop is today and make it our own in Africa? Why do we have to mimic Americans?
