Heard that Nosisi from Kwani Experience recorded their second album with the rest of the group. Just as they were about to launch it, she left the group and went to work in Cape Town . Caught everyone by surprise. Imagine how the group felt. Having to lauch & promote an album without their lead vocalist. And to dscover that she had planned the move to CT for a while.

What's up with SA Hip Hop groups Breaking Up all the time? Every week, a group splits up. Anyone noticed this?

Cashless Society (I understand some old members aint rolling with the crew anymore)
Jozi (with Lu stabbing Ish)

Nymphonik Bastards of the Universe (Lox is in J sec and I hear that he does not want to be part of the group anymore)
Hidden Force (ditching Hoodlum)
Township Frequency (showing Wikid the middle finger and Wikid begging them dudes to take him back)

I hear there’s more to come. I hear that the Glitz is about to kick out Zee Supreme and the Crackboys are about to ditch K9 the Pedigree and Bondizzle the Boss. And I bet groups like Groundworks will not put another record as a crew / a compilation again. + What happened to Life forces?

It's like everyday, I wake up somebody got a problem with me. To make it official, The Glitz are their own entity, they are family, but logistically, it is impossible to make music together because of the distance ( I live in America and they are in Jozi). I rep The Glitz all the way though, those are my boys till the death and I wish them much success...I do have my co, Born Rich Ent, that I am setting up. Trust me b, I don't get kicked out, Im a a**et homie not another artist, I bring more to the table than just rap....So next time you pop off fly without the supporting facts, think about it....

Ey, jo! She left when the project was done, album sleeves done. Then walked when they had just released it. Then they had to teach the new girl all of them songs and, that gave a whole new sound to Kwani. Good thang she can sing tho. SMH @ how Nosisi left.....SMH.....

Bout Entity

The truth is entity is well educated about the business and what not! that video you saw for touch and go was arranged by them and not creative! Also i think they spit up cause a member went to study in cape town.

The problems i found with being part of a crew is that creative differances tear you apart, Some times you want a chorus done in a certain way but they dont like it, then its the financial issue who should get paid more cause they produced and who gets less!ahhhh it was honestly a head ache. Also this thing of having a backing artist is also a waste of time! I replaced my backing artist with a DJ and the set is crazy nice with more appeal to the crowd! the beat juggling thing is crazy to lace over.

@Cash is K9 really leaving? oh and what ever happend to Young zulu? That dude was ment to have a come back but im still waiting.

as for Young Smuncu....dat niggas has yet to explain to ME, why exactly he left, but his boy told me the dude wanted to do his OWN THING. i respect that. dude is so talented! he's like the greatest rapper alive man! he's the definition of real! he was too big for the Monopoly! so he had to spread his wings n hobble on.

I wish him all the best for his September Release " Zooloo Voodoo"
Im sure he wont disappoint all of us!
I think he posted a single a while ago and we all went crazy with anticipation of the full length album!

can sumone pls clarify - is it true that Mycbeth was kicked out of Anvils cos of his ability to attract FRUITY FANS?
I think things went sour after a few incidences where dudes wud jump on stage and hug and kiss dude.

The biggest problem with crews is that dudes gas each other up. If you know for a fact that your manz and 'em are wack on the mic... you're prolly not gonna tell 'em. You're gonna say 'thats hot' knowing good and well they suck. I used to watch some Yeoville dudes record shit when we used to have a studio set up in Killarney... some guys would come through..spit their rhymes... and then their boyz would delete it as soon as they were gone.

I think its hard to criticize each other when you're in a crew. Most crews in SA break up cos they're not really making endz meet financially..... the shit is just a hobby at the end of the day. If no-one is booking you for shows... (which 90% of crews experince) then whats the point?  Some crews just want a bit of fame so they can milk it for all its worth... but in the end as you grow older you want autonomy... U dont want some ninja telling you where to be and at what time. Especially if you have a wife and/or kids. I heard a story once about how POC were living in London back in the day and that B-boy dude Mark stabbed Ish over some dumb shit... cos he was more popular or sumn.. The girls werent feeling Mark as much as everyone else and eventually he just snapped.. I heard a rumour that Snazz stabbed Gemini...
