As a producer you get asked a lot, if you feel you wasted a beat on certain artists. I usually reply "if they paid for it, its wasnt a waste."

Anyhow, which beats do you think certain artists wasted?

Produced by Madlib

Madlib laced them with a dope club/crossover beat, and i feel they didnt capitalize on what could have been a really succesful song. Think they got the flows all wrong on this one. The beat was phat, the hook was on point. But the raps were the weak link.

Cant think of any local songs off the top of my head. Can anyone?

Don't get me wrong. I love Kweli. I just think he wastes his time on mixtapes and always gives Strong Arm Steady the best beats. Don't know why.

Any beat given to Camron!!!!!!!! How the hell did he waste that "Down and Out" beat by Kanye!!!!? how shit he could have farted on the beat and would have been a hit!

true... camron and that dude Jim Jones wastes beats. a lot of the stuff from the heatmakerz are wasted on them
