As a producer you get asked a lot, if you feel you wasted a beat on certain artists. I usually reply "if they paid for it, its wasnt a waste."

Anyhow, which beats do you think certain artists wasted?

Madlib laced them with a dope club/crossover beat, and i feel they didnt capitalize on what could have been a really succesful song. Think they got the flows all wrong on this one. The beat was phat, the hook was on point. But the raps were the weak link.

Cant think of any local songs off the top of my head. Can anyone?

Forget about rappers wasting beats. There are alot of dope beats wasted at soundclick from producers whose beats are never picked up.

God, I hate it when rappers do that. Shit talking on tracks is the bane of my f***ing existence. Every time I hear dudes dropping the mental needle over a hot beat I want to smack the shit out of someone.
