yeah the kid was sick, the operative word being WAS...first saw him on the 106 and park freestlyes with free and Aj...he was nice with he free, built a bit o hype for himself, nice pre-entry into the game he managed to create...we where all checkin for what would happen next...
won the freestyle fridays (under wide spread sceptisisim i might add)..was scooped up by swiss adn released an album that ii personally thought was an insult...not all the tracks where bad but the gimicy sound of his raps made it aparent that his angle would be to milk the chinese thing without saying that much...not forgeting to mention that the punchlines became blend and uninteresting...
not to say much, the yellow man as he calls himself released a second album which should have seen teh death of its retarted think tank team of concept creators...
Ca**IDY, name in caps cos i dig homey's flow, also WAS very sick with concepts, frees, gangster raps and basic rhyme scheming...nowaydays especially ive been sleeping on him, its not the hotel joint with Kells, its more i think the lack of proper rhyme schemes and concetps....
you can rap about allota things but attaching meaning to them is a notion of writing that most of our emcees today are missing...
