just had to say: the use of 'Groupie Love' or whatever you call it is really pathetic. disappointing for someone as 'high up' as you.
Sincerest apologies yo no offence intended.
accepted, my man. i just feel that hip hop, of late, has gotten to a point where it undermines its own progressive nature.
is there really a reason to mimic the media conglomerates in objectifying women; in subjugating homosexuals?
we are supposed to be smarter than that!
to be honest, a very comfortable dissent comes from the verses of your average progressive hip hop composition.
its easy - as the people on this site have demonstrated - to bitch and picket against whatever 'worthy' cause hip hop might pick up - like xenophobia for example - and yet no one bats an eyelid for the homosexual teenagers who get stoned to death in our townships.
where are we going?
are we counter-culture or are we complicit?
