Finally got my PS3, waiting on that big screen TV. Had a shock yesterday when I realised how much I have to catch up on.

Started Devil May Cry 4 and Heavenly Sword plus a little Gran Turismo, still need to beat those before I can play MGS4, which I bought yesterday. Then I need to tackle GTA4. Oh, and Dead Space. And I need Mirror's Edge in my life. Not to mention LittleBigPlanet, which is threatening to consume every moment of my time between now and my untimely death in three months time from internal bleeding caused by excessive TV radiation exposure.

f***. So many cool games, so little time.

Where my gamers at? Any of you suffering the same problem?

torn between getting a ps3 or a 360. was leaning towards the 360 cause i heard they have better games (and its crazy affordable at the moment) what you think rob?

I like the 360 - it has a good interface and some solid games. I do think the PS3 is more powerful though - plus, it has some great exclusives, a growing online presence and is far and away the easiest to deal with.

The differences between the two are much less marked than in the PS2/original XBox era.

I feel you man I have a huge backlog to catch-up on since the omnia dented my gaming fund ,dEADSPACE,pro evo 2009, far cray 2, saint row 2. all of them are begging to be copped

I can't even look at Fallout. If I do, my life will be over. Not to mention my bank account.

I do want to get into FC2 though. It's great that more games are being set in Africa - we'll have to see if Far Cry and Resi 5 do it justice though.

Man a game set in J-Sec would be awesome.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHRRRRRGGGGGHH!!!!! 360 got me playin my life away, drinkin my life away, pissin my life away, poppin my life away.... and my seeds will end up the same way.

GTA4 is a danger, i have had to lock the box away cos i've had to handle new business without my partner (so now i gotta, write, produce, direct and production manage.... they even had me doing storyboards... if***in hate doin storyboards) and i cant walk past my lounge if the box occupies its rightful place.
otherwise Dead Rising is my oldest game but the replayability is insane!!
Guitar Hero 3 on the way, I'm undecided about Too Human.
I'm gonna have to pick up Devil May Cry soon and Gears of War 2 is aching to be owned.
Far cry2 is too f***in nice and i'm loving Team FOrtress also!!
And January is coming, I cant decide, Wii or PS3, I can only get one, help!

Xbox360 all the way, I use to be a big sony fan back in the ps2 days. I cant justify getting a ps3 aswell cause most of the games that were exclusive on ps are now on xbox e.g. Soul calibur 4(going to pick that up tonight), Tekken, Final Fantasy, MGS will be on xbox in the near future.

Xbox has the best online service between the two, don't get it twisted. If you guys wanna add me my gamertag is Bondizzo

$44 per year, yes and its worth it, I dont see the point of playing solo anymore either well thats just me. I'd rather play with guys who are as good/better than me, and you can never predict human nature, playing against a computer aint fun no more.

who are you paying that doe to? telkom? or is telkom charging its own fee's on top of that $44

that's for Microsoft , yearly subscription. then you need adsl which you pay telkom for, I have the 4mbit connection and I pay about R850 monthly for my internet, there's cheaper options ofcourse.
