For as long as the media remains flooded with international music, the local acts will always be undermined........When Mcs from the state start to think of even making a mixtape, i swear you will hear that shit somewhere on TV or the news papers.........but when our own cats like Proverb try to put out a mixtape, you get to hear about it only on AG........its almost as if we as South Africans dont even like ourselves.......I was reading the Sowetan some days back and they had a story about Beyonce telling one journalist about how she was slapped by her mom in a music shop.......I mean really, is the SA music industry so boring that journalists have to tell the people useless stories like that.....

This girl I work with just walked in all excited cos she saw Jayceon in Sandton City like 10 minutes ago..  She took a picture and got a hug... then she walks in and says to our (white) manager.. "I just saw the Game".. managers like...'what game?'... smh..
