the way u ask that question almost suggests that someone *a man* is in charge of the extent to which women are allowed to be clever.

I think u should be asking "to what extent should a woman dumb herself down for a man to be comfortable with her intellect"

you know in all this being so engendered we forget one minor yet not so minor thing. women and men are people. personalities. and you get some people who would rather chill while others go off and slay dragons. not all dudes want to be running around ridding the world of baffooniousness and not all women are merely interested in sitting pretty.

and being a couple is a being a team. combining the two identities to make a life work. so if dude wants to be the chiller and hold down the fam then he can chill. if thats who you are. you dont have to do or be anything.
