we are very appreciative of the hard work that went into making this project a success, when the horn was blown and smoke signals were sent out to cats for a**istance WE RECEIVED OVER 40 BEATS FROM PRODUCERS & on a sad note only a handful of emcees signed their names up for the project.

OF THE 40 beats we received, about 20 beats were chosen by the emcees we sort out for this project. to the beat makers i say this...if you do not see your name on this track list and you sent in your beat, do not despair...rest a**ured none of the beats were discarded or tossed away, they are still with us and archived appropriately, this is just the beginning of many projects we are to work together on, and we would like to extend our siincerest thank yous to all who stepped up to the plate...we have more to come.

now to the emcees, more specifically you, lyrical masterminds and all who sent in their joints and dont see your name on the tracklist.

first and foremost we would like to thank you for your participation and coming to our aid when we needed you guys the most, not all who say they rhyme really do so. however it must be noted that we can not beat about the bush on this matter. for us, quality is of prime importance, that coupled by a level of elevated skill. Lyrical Masterminds in our opinion still have a long way to go in terms of delivery and beat making skills. correct me if im wrong but you guys did not use any of the beats that were supplied to you by us (nothing wrong with that) its just that on this occasion it just serves to emphasis my point...

pardon my frankness god, but your beats still need alot of work, the execution and delivery of rhymes still needs alot of work. thus since it is well within our rights to have your tracks on the album or not, we made the hard choice of not including them, on the basis that you will return to the drawing board and craft on the skill a bit more...

Lyrical Masterminds did not for us meet the grade of what we were looking for on this album, the standard of rhyming we felt still had a long way to go, moreover, the level of beat making as well.

the same goes for every other EMCEE who does not see their name on the album...

just came back from a listening session...the first of many i hope to have with people whose opinions i value & trust...

the album has hit the streets in Grahamstown already and its making its mark...

we learning a lot from this piece of work, want to stress that for all of us involved in this, we are all students of the art...we hope our work altough modestly novice, will command your attention when you bump it tomorrow....
