As you may know, Driemanskap are about to drop their debut album, Igqabhukil' Inyongo.

The official release date is May 11th, but if you're in Cape Town this evening you can get a sneak preview of the new material.

The gig was originally scheduled to be at District 6 Cafe, but there has been a last-minute change of plan so we're now going to be at La Reference on Long Street. La where?!... I hear you ask. It's just next to Stones. It's looks a bit grimy but don't be scared :)

So here are the details...

@ D-You might have answered this before, so my appologies for making you repeat it...

-Which stores will the album be available?
-Are there any planned peformances in Gauteng (Pta to be exact)?

I really wanna check these boys out...

The CD will be available at all the majors (Musica, Look & Listen, Reliable etc) + all your favourite indie stores (Ritual Stores, Greyscale, Munks, Hi-5ive, African Music Store etc). As always, if anyone doesn't have it, order it at the counter! If your local indie doesn't stock it, ask them to contact us and we'll send them a consignment.

There are no performances planned for PTA, but Drie are going to be performing at Back to the City in Newtown on 27th April. They are also going to be hitting all the hoods in J-Sect the week after Back to the City. If you want them at your local jam, holla at us and we'll make it happen.

its actually kind of cool. looks shady but not threatening. its just like you're in a sheebeen. you even pay for your gla** just like they do at sheebeens. its the most ghetto place i've ever been too in the CBD.
