hype has shifted nd they puttin these cats who get airplay on they mixtapes.....f***ed up!!
okay i think we are losing the plot here, are we not all trying to get our music heard, isnt the ultimate aim to get our work out to the streets, isnt HYPE magazine providing that platform?...if so, then how is the magazine to blame for putting a joint that just so happens to be getting play on the radio on its CD as well, shouldnt that rather be a refletion of the respective artist's grind to get "his isht out" and thus influence others to reevaluate their hustle and lean towards restructuring it to fit a more aggressive approach rather than downplay other cats for getting they isht in the mag & on the radio.
cos word is bond, cats are coming off like there is a conspiracy going on here with track selection...when i first came here to this website, i asked Nyambs, Tate and em about how one "gets they siht on HYPE"...cats laid it down straight, "clean up your tracks, have proper packaging and keep knocking on the door, not only that, but grind elsewhere"....it made sence, HYPE isnt obliged to jump on your joints, its about the work you put out and the independent grind you undertake to get your own material out that shines light on it....maybe the question we should be asking is this:
(if) getting your shit on radio = getting it on HYPE, then, gottdamit....
HOW DO WE GET OUR SHIT ON RADIO
the oppossite is ofcos also true...do the knowledge, stop the hating!
