So do you guys listen to anything other than hip hop?
HOLD UP! Freeze! Before you touch that keyboard. Please don't tell me RnB or Soul or Rap or House(doesn't actually cla**ify as music, but we let it pa**...)or Techno etc., because those genres are very similar to hip hop (yes they are, be real). Anyone listen to pop? Jazz? Blues? Rock? Cla**ical? Latin American? What? C'mon guys, you can't only listen to hip hop, that's boring!
Rather than making another thread, thought I may as well add my grievances:
Ok really though, has anyone else started to notice that comercial rap, RnB and pop are starting to sound the same?
Lil'Wayne, T-Pain, R-Kelly, Ciara, Justin Timberlake, Pussy Cat Dolls and all the other artists (not worthy the name) you hear on the radio all have kinda the same sound? Not either pop, rap or RnB, but a wack-a** mixture of all of them?
And what's with so many f***in collabos these days? Can't musicians do music by themselves, they need another musician to hold their hand?
Finally: Justin Timberlake. Wtf is up with this? The dood was the lead singer of NSYNC for fuks sake, now he does so many song with 'hip hop artists'. Aint dat funny.
