Of course. Was just saying I enjoyed Cuban Links more than Mos. I can say i like Driemanksap's album more than Jaak's / Zubz's. Not saying they are similar. i just think one is better than the other. And I can put them in one line coz it's all hip hop.

It is not that & should not be judged as such. There is more to hip hop.

Really, those of you saying you didnt like Mos Def I'd like to hear what songs you didn't like and why? Perhaps we can discuss why some of us liked the songs we did vs those that didn't. Debate - may be a foreign concept to some of you.

Why do you say that? What about it did you not like? The flows? lyrics? beats? It is a more 'abstract' track but once I opened up to it (saw in on FlashForward) I've got infected!  Its been on repeat ALL weekend.

because someone said this was his fav album of all yea. that means it's being compared to other albums this year. When people make such statements (one of the best in a long time, one of the best this year, etc), they obviously a**essing it in relation to others , hence I bring up stuff I feel is better than this. Different from saying. This is a dope album. To which i would say. It's Ok. Nothing more nothing else.

i don't really think it's such an experimental album at all, that it would go over us the so called "purists". songs like auditorium,wahid & Priority are pretty traditional sounding to me.

we know you love the album Tate, good for u. i said it was dope too but nothing really major for me.why is that such a problem that we have to start breaking down songs now ?
