just peeped the website, its alive again, hopefully this time it will stay that way for years to come....

I hope all them artists that put in work will do the right thing and submit their work for the awards, shud be interesting since the public will be doing the voting for the majority of the awards....only three will be done by the judges....

yeah, heard about that, my boy OPTIC NERVE, of SUPERMACY is in the mag....still have to see it but yeah, much LOVE on that BOOST, the god has been working MAD HARD this year  :D

Peace yall. Could someone please explain to me if entering for yourself is normal. I thought your work had to be recognized by the "board". Isnt there a criteria before one enters? cause if not then any idiot could enter. I would like some clarity on this one. Id love to be told exactly how it works

As far as I understand any idiot can enter:

Anyone may enter, providing the work they enter was released to the public within the specified time period of 1 September 2008 to 30 November 2009.

Not sure what 'released to the public' means though - technically-speaking just printing a few CDs and selling them in Ritual store satisfies this criteria. Same goes for uploading MP3s on a website. So basically, anyone can enter.

However, 'Artists may enter only ONCE PER CATEGORY'.

The entrance fee is payable on entry, and will go towards the HYPE DANCE ACADEMY, to be established in the future.

I can't see what the entrance fee is though... anyone know?
