None of you nerds mentioned the user experience either. Apple is always way ahead.
Actually most reviewers, me included, rate the user experience on the Pre, not only as matching the iPhone, but actually beating it.
Like you said, you don't bother with all the tinkering as much as I use to do on my iPhone. With the Pre, none of that was necessary, cos the phone is open to all developers' apps etc. without having to pay or jailbreak it.
The Pre is awesome. I just can't wait to see if this thing actually matches up, since the N97 also looked good on paper, but didn't deliver. I had one on test for a week and was really not impressed.
