1st album´s a definite Hiphop cla**ic, I was like "damn! these cats hold nothin back, they´re spittin all that real shit!"
tho´ uncomparable to the 1st in just about all aspects, RBG had that "aight" feel about it... "just aight" (that´s just me tho´)
therefore musically me got mad respect for dem cats...
the phuck´s up with their philosophy though.

* They talk about "phuck taxes, phuck bills, phuck the government" but then they offer no alternative. how the phuck do u run a country without no goverment, bills... ect
* ironic how their song "Hell Yeah" which is about overturning the system is on the soundtrack for "2 Fast 2 Furious", wich was one of them hyped-the-phuck-out commercialized flicks.
* their oh so racist a** is signed to Sony a major let alone one of the most succesfull record labels in the world ran/owned by a rich white dude... What the phuck?!!!??

The whole concept behind RBG waz broadening the their revolution to a much wider audience, coz they probably felt they’re not reaching enough catz on the streets so they must´ve thought if they gooi in the Gangsta element to it will give ‘em much ma** appeal...

Look @ it this way, they’re using the ‘system’ to their advantage so by signing with a major label [white owned or not] will give ‘em dat platform to spread their sh*t to a global market rather than being confided in the basement of the undaground...

nuwe pussie is an ignoramus...

fact is, they are addressing issues that need to be adressed, using a skill that they have. rap. they are getting paid for their skill.
what they say makes sense.
the fact that they may contradict themselves in what they live doesn´t remove the truth of what they say...

it is smallminded to argue the message against the messnger.
if you think they talk rubbish. say that!
don´t say they talk rubbish because they don´t live what they talk.
that is art. expression of concepts. not necessarily living those concepts...although thats the ideal for all of us!

money. they need it. if they were to get enough money from the ´system´ to open tehir own company and put other people out on a major level, isn´t taht better in teh end??
we need money you silly c u nts!!!!!!!!1

OK, I´m on my way out, so I cant say much now, but one thing, fom an anarcho-socialist point of view. If you´re gonna preach freedom and revolution, then do something. Dont just talk, cause that makes you no more than a coffeshop revolutionary, they´re racist ones at that.

They preach too much hate for white, then they speak about black power and gangsterism in the same breath.

phuck that, I used to like them, not anymore.

i think that making millions is doing something, especially if those millions translate into community projects...
you fukers want them in combat boots and sweaty...the new revolutioin must be fought in the boardrooms, because that is where the world´s major decisions are being made. take over the minds. take over the banks. that is the battle.

it´s a battle for skrilla.

this isnt the fukn 10th century...you cant just call up the cavalry and ride in on white horses playing roxanne shante out of a luminous boombox...

in order to make real change in a world where the dividing line is skrilla, we need to draw our own lines by getting skrilla ourselves!! the more of us in in power will decide who has power...not more daed brothers...

the only problem is being co opted into the system. wathc the anc government.

that is one of teh illest hiphop videos ever...as far as me liking them, it´s been down hill eva since.

I think they rushed RGB. Remember the real album was shelved for being too political/racist whatever. Another problem is that since they dissed Lord Jamar and sticMan started handling production they have compromised the music approach although now their message is more militant.

Actually I think they will get dropped again, have you seen the video for HELL YEAH? They´ve always been controversial but damn...

its still bigger than hiphop.

Firstly DP does offer an alternative to this way of life(socialism), that was clear from their singles before their first album more so in their first album(i.e. the song ´police state´). Further they´re more than just coffee shop revolutionaries, they´re involved in socialist movements within America they donated a lumpsome from their first album to these movements, I for one also think that the RBG wasn´t as hard-hitting as their first LP nevertheless I respect their strong work ethic. The reason they rhyme as gangsters is because they´re simply reflecting their everyday surroundings and through this the hardships of capitalism are more so depicted as to what they do to one and force one to do.
