i´m interested to know why people go onto the net and post on forums and chat rooms..why do people do it? is it an outlet to say what you cant in your normal life? or are you just pa**ing time? or could it be your whole life? or do you just like to masturbate to people youve never seen??

to make up for the lack of notice we receive from the outside world. reality bites if you are as attractive as an empty milk carton with a picture of polly shore after his in the army now days. it´s a much needed vent. we aren´t idiots, we are normal people who tend to over compensate for our lack of social skills by posting arbitrary shit that at least resembles coolness when we first concieve it. i speak for myself when i say that i´m an abused child who had too much time on their hands as a toddler and my parents let our family pet, chichi the senile pitbull babysit me. lol :-]

Not tottally agreeing with Blaq´s reason,
i beleive that communication of some form or another, is a crucial major primary basic need of the human kind. makin somekinda contact with a fellow earthling to voice/exchange ideas, spread a message, soak up some info, debate an issue, talk weather n yeah even sometime just clown around wich for some reason seems naturally essential to our psyche well being
that´s why we invent such means as Phones, Radio, TV n Internet connections.
n since internet interacting seems to encourage one´s anonymousness, n much unlike other forms of media (like phones n TV) nothin off u is really heard or seen. n on top of that one is provided with the cool options of hookin up a nickname of choice (avatars n shit) all contributing to the ease with wich one can feel tempted to explore n get in touch with an extreme side of his personality he wouldn´t normally explicitely show in everyday life

its something to do when i´m bored ,i can connect with people without being intrusive,i can heir my views without fear of judgement ,the anonimity thing is a big plus and also i interact with people i wouldn´t otherwise meet or speak to in real life.The way society is structured most of us tend to mix with the same people even though we´re curious about certain things there´s no platform to reach out to others without being looked at funny.

for me personally,is to find out how other people outside my cloistered reality interface with life and music; also ,to every now and then add my 2 cents worth 8-)

4 me i say stuff on the net coz i´ve got no one to say it to in the "normal life" the net is a form of escapism and a voice for me. when i say things here no one judges me coz no one knows me they can only imagine what kind of person i am which gives me the thrill.i will keep jerking on u guys its up to u if u want to spit or swallow.....peace :-]

Communication is the main word here, people have a certain tendency to make friends especially new ones so where can u make new friends without the emotional attachments the world wide web. This filled with the wordly psychos and untamed perverts is a paradise for some of us who just want to escape the harsh realities of this obscure system called Life!

yo ill_ i hear what you are saying and i respect that, but i do believe that to make up for any form of defiency in our social lives we surf and a**ume these status´ where we are unknown and wanna seem really worth the phone calls we never receive from the girlfriends and hordes of friends we don´t have. it brings us closer while leaving us far enough to escape the stinch that is left after we make contact with humans who are as tainted as we are. it´sa win win situation while not losing the anonimity. :-]
