really enjoyed the day. was cool to get out of the city centre and get to an open-air jam. we need way more of these. to me, this is where real hip hop culture lives. the music must come to the people, not the other way around. big up mizi and simone for organising.
i hate to be negative about such a nice day, but red bull's mobile sound system was hugely disappointing. it sounded like it was barely amplifying the performers voices. i don't know if it had to be kept turned down so as not to disturb the neighbours, but it didn't do the music justice. a small stage would have been nice too.
anyway,,, those small issue aside, was great to see everyone keeping SA hip hop alive.
