Maybe home should focus less on listening to poppy garbage and appreciate the talent, instead of expecting him to water it down for them, which would cause him to lose his international appeal.

Trueness, thing is home isnt on the "required" level....majority of home will bump the B.Sharpa album and would be more confuzzled than gay marriage counselors....home needs to grow

Yeah, Ben is off for a 2 month tour of Europe on March 1st.

So far I think 16 gigs booked including the Method Man shit. He's also playing at Printemps de Bourges (alongside Tumi, Die Antwoord, BLK JKS and others) which is a ma**ive festival - one of the biggest in Europe I think.

He's back in early May to rehearse for the new 4D show we're working on, then he's back to Europe in June for 2 or 3 months.

We wish we could do more shows in SA, but it's much harder down here. Ben's career is really taking off over there but no one is interested down here - can't even break into the top 5 of the Hype Awards!

Hahah,, maybe one day we'll crack the SA market! :)

Totally agree. D is keeping it strictly business, supply and demand. If there is more demand for him overseas, then that's where he'll focus on. The local market will have to grow and mature to the level where it embraces a more diverse hiphop sound than it currently is and then maybe demand for his sound will grow locally. Until then, he'll keep adding them stamps on his pa**port and getting that foreign currency.
