I must have a twisted mind because songs like All I got by Ghostface are more uplifting as dude is about his rough last but now he's mad it. So I see them in a positive light. Sad songs are the terrible rap love songs you hear about trifling chicks who "broke" some dude's heart after the same ish been done to you and songs which talk about people dying like Miss You by Biggie when you have lost someone and makes you think of them. Dudes in the States going on about hardships which I don't find different from what we grew up in and never thought we were doomed and realized when older that we was in a messed up hood don't make me feel sad or anything.
