I was not implying that only coloured people do this of course, but your theory that being coloured makes it harder for you to make it also holds little water, while people like POC and Black noise are hip hop icons in SA. What about Azuhl? Jaak? Shorty and Wouks etc? Godessa?
It is simply a matter of getting yourself out there and as I see it, coloured emcees, especially the ones in Cape Town, cater to a crowd which really doesn't fit the mainstream mold.
