Action Bronson - Dr Lecter (just for shits & giggles really, not that innovative but i like the way he put a newer twist on a style GHOST FACE brithed)
Akua Naru - a journey aflame (dope emcee out of Africa but based in Germany, shes butta peaking with the bars plus i liked what JR & PH7 did on the beats)
Blaq Poet - Blaq poet Society (not really much of a poet fan, but i really dig his choice of BEATS on this record, it makes his rather stagnant type of raps sound newer)
Beneficence - Sidewalk science (this deserves a mention from me, if anything, cos its TRUE SKOOL & forms part of my foundation)
Royce da 5'9 - Success is certain (i dont think anyone right now is dropping flow like Royce, as much as unique goes, il have to say he's carving out his own niche and flow pattern, although some would argue Eminem patented it)
R.E.K.S - R.E.K.S (one of the best out there right now)
Ill Bill & Vinnie Paz - Heavy metal kings (i think it deserves a mention, they rep the horror core pretty well, although the music reaches satiation pretty quick after the first rotation)
SAN & KRITIK - CLa**IC DIRT (dope & comprehensive record, if i do say so myself)
Pete Rock & Smiff & Wesson - Monumental (this whole year, i dont think anyone has managed to MASTER the SWING like Pete Rock did on this record)
mixtapes:
Little Vic - Apocalypto (no one has raps & flow like Vic, no one, ask his manz Emilio, Skyzoo, Chaundon, Joey Budden and em)
Rapsody - Thank her (shouts to the earth, shes really pulling her weight & proving her worth, id say keep checking for her)
Bambu - Exact Change reloaded (without a doubt, Bam is my favourite emcee for the 2010-2011 timeline)
