I play Tumi with the Volume on max!!!!! have his solo effort the live at teh baseline album and i´m digging both of them.
Must say those live instruments make it even tyter.

A talented wordsmith. He is a true poet. With or without the band. finish & klaar. but i feel him with the band. I´ve said this before & i will say it again. That Live @ the Ba**line is the best album I´ve heard in a long time. in my books its the only album that eclipsed Zim Ngqawana´s efforts over the past 5 years. live instruments add a totally different dimension to any album.

yeah. nah i definitely feel tumi, despite the fact ive only heard 2 tracks, one with the volume and one without. so im not so sure what to feel exactly but it looks like i got some qualification on the subject.

larry do yourself a favour get a copy of the album, live at the ba**line. one of the best pieces of music I´ve heard in a long time.

People tell me, where / how can i get the lyrics? i think they should be taught at schools during poetry lessons. Just as we we taught wordswort, shakespeare & others, the new generation should read tumi, lebo mashile, Zakes Mda, lesego rampolekeng, and other SA poets & writers.

So help me out - where / how can i get the lyrics?

I agree with the Chickenhead.Tumi has some niceness and it hits home.His lyrics on that Ba**line disc should be discussed and taught to the younger generation, sorta like they doing with Tupac´s poetry and lyrics.Speaking of which, any of u peep the album which is the follow-up sort of of his Rose that Grew from Concrete Vol.1 album?Also, the poetry book is nice too.
