I do agree that bis seems to be looking for a fight 80% of the time he spits. Listening to him however, I do believe he has more to contribute to hip hop from an mc perspective than most of these "commercial" artists.

I do not for one moment believe ll got the better of bis lyrically. He did however manage to muscle him out of the business by using his bottomless pit of contacts in the music industry. Besides, bis seems to have dug his own grave by choosing to stick to his style and not drop another "radio playable" single.

It´s not what you know, it´s who you know.

I liked mic club better than rip the jacker and would buy his next album without thinking twice.

Bis has a loyal, and maybe fanatical following so he does not need to be on the commercial level. Not all commercial emcees make money, its just the fame. Independent cats like Cormega, Bis, Necro make more more money per record sold. That said, I think he might try to get on to the commercial wagon again but he has many obstacles now because he has beef with LL, Eminem and his former mentor Wyclef and all those dudes have mad influence.

He is one of the illest rappers alive. No-one can imitate him. There is absolutely no question about the level of respect he has earned. I don´t think you´d find a rapper alive who´d want to battle him.

I have nothing to add to the Bis argument but just don´t forget..in adition to the "niggling little thought at the back of his head"...he´s also got a fine-a** wife in the same bed, a hellava long career certified to be in the history books to look back on.
