Looking For Producer/s

Fro-Pick Records is looking to recruit a producer/s. Due to other obligations and the fact that i dont even like making beats, my role as a producer on Fro-Pick is going to be limited throughout 2005. The producer/s hired by Fro-Pick will be paid a monthly salary and will have the oportunity to use the Fro-Pick name to establish themselves in the local market as well as make use of Fro-Picks extensive international reach.

I´ve uploaded a mix of beats serving as the standard for the production post. Note this is the minimum standard, So please dont send us anything if u dont make this standard.

The type of vibe were looking for can be heard in the standard(mix) but to avoid any missunderstandings we are not looking for any:
1 - synthetic production (Organic beats is the order of the day @ fro-pick)
2 - No Dirty South bounce ish (Nothing against that whole dirty south feel, its just doesnt form part of fro-picks musical future)

Job Description
1 - You Produce a certain, agreed upon, amount of tracks per month
2 - We dont get a cut of any other non- fro-pick work we organise for you. So if we get you to do a beat for Zubz and u get R2000 grand for it, that dough remains yours. You just need to acknowledge it as a fro-pick work.So if your name is "Beats R Us" all u need to do is state "produced by Beats R Us for fro-pick records"


I dont hate making beats, its just not the center of my focus.The reason i started making beats is because my man Sceptre had loads of scripts but no beats to flip, it was just me helping out a friend. Making Beats is merely something i can do, and because i spend a lot of time on it i´d like to think its something i´m good at.

Whats in it for fro-pick? simple, the work u do for fro-pick. plus the work u do for non-fro-pick projects. since the work is done for fro-pick records, it helps fro-pick become a respected brand.

All the stuff like salaries and number of productions per month will be negotiated later, when we´ve received your audio 8-) !! Its not gonna be less than 3 zero´s though

Hey Nyambz, I guess u gonna be moving into a more managerial post soon I presume?If so, good on u man.So u say the dude doing the critting of the beats is brutal hey.I guess thats the best that way, so that could ensure u get the best of the best.Its gonna be a tough one though to choose.

Btw, Nat says she´s heard BecomingPhil´s stuff.I havent heard anything of Phil as yet.The last time I remember seeing Phil go at everyone bout how tight his beats r.Supposedly better than everyone´s thats out at the mo.So, I think that the proof is in the pudding.Somebody send me something of Phil´s so that I can see for myself whether the ranting and raving of his was really worth it or all in vein.U can catch me on bricktop@webmail.co.za.

Anyways, the proposition of Fro-Pick sounds pretty cool.Would be cool to get the lowdown as far as more details r concerned, but I guess that will all be discussed in time too with the one that gets chosen.So how many inhouse producers u guys got at the mo, Nyambz?
