Primo, what´s in a name?

Anybody ever thought what Primo´s original stage name was perhaps or what his name is?He´s always Mr background, but I´m sure peeps got a bunch of older info on The Tightness that is Primo.

Real Name : Chris Martin
Previous stage Name : Wax Master C

Primo is actually from Texas and not New York, although he helped shape that NY sound in the early 90´s. He´s been living in Brooklyn since 1987. I think.

The god of the beat.
I could write a f***in dissertation on the way he constructs his beats. the way he triggers and places his samples... gaps etc.
Gotta move away from that shit...
Tho its a problem - almost feels like Primo got it ´perfect´ - he´s so distinct that striving for perfections ends up having your beats sound like his...
Lotta peeps have/had that problem... alchemist etc.
It´s all about unique style....
Mad producers will find a tight style that they made their own... - but primo´s hogged the style of perfection.

Will there ever be another producer that can consistently pound out beats that´ll make you nod your head so violently that you got al jazeera newscasters perkin up.
