Thats gotta be one of the best finals man.I was also disappointed that it went to penalties, but man oh man am I a happy camper.

Liverpool finally getting the glory after such a long time.Was too superb man.And what a way to top the night off, but with some Smackdown.

Liverpool coming back after being 3-0 down to 2003 Uefa champs.......and ending up winning.Now that take a whole lotta steam.  8)

all props to liverpool... hate it though when the underdog wins- greece in euro 2004, porto last yr & now pool... everyone i saw today was humming 'you'll never walk alone'... felt gerrard & carragher really deserved it

by the way- do u realise that morientes has bn in the uefa finals for the past 4 yrs (albeit in a diminished role @ real a few seasons ago & now as he's still cup tied to real)

well, South Africa will be hosting the world cup in a bit  and this country will be soccer madness....you might just as well get used to it ...

about the game...it was not a defeat, it was one awesome game  though,with penalty shoots outs and all ,but in my not so humble opinion, the better team lost ,it was just one of those weird twist of fate things...Milan was the better team on the day and the game could've gone to anyone ,i'm glad for liverpool though  'coz they get to keep the trophy and all'a that... 8)

I know what'll do, every year i'l start watching the FA cup, COSAFA cup, CAF and UEFA in the semi final stage and make like i'm the biggest soccer fan and be nice to my friends at multichoice so they can invite me to watch the finals on a big screen at sum fancy restaurant and give me as much food and as much alcohol i want for FREE. Saturday and wednesday add to some of the best days of this year.

always had the feeling that Livberpool would win it, I mean i could feel that Gerrard wanted it so bad and they did win it, but I feel bad cause Kaka played such good soccer and Schevscenko as well, but they had the skills and liverpool had the HEART and thtas what counted on the day. BIG ups to the REds and they deserve to keep the cup
