Jay-Z Declares Peace with Nas

We'll have the whole review today but yesterday was a great day for Hip-Hop at 105.1's Powerhouse concert in New Jersey.
Jay-Z, who was expected to go at a few industry cats, called 'Esco' to the stage and Nas came to perform the chorus to "Dead Presidents" while Jay-Z left the stage to let Nas perform a few songs.
Then Jay-Z came back and the pair rhymed over Nas' "Made You Look."
"All that beef shit is wack," said Jay-Z, "we're all in this shit together!"
People who were looking for the war declaration were surely disapointed but President Carter made history last night, this was truly a great day in Hip-Hop....
Jay-Z will be performing in Philadelphia tonight (28th)@ Wachovia Center.

You have no idea how excited I am about this. While I recognize this may be a purely business move for Nas & Hov it opens up so many opportunities for good hip hop to succeed over that fake beef G-Unit shiii.

Political Analyst err analysis: In regards to this twist of events, I'll admit a couple of weeks back I did call it: Jay & Nas announcing that they'll be rolling togther, but I did'nt see the "Beef is wack" angle coming.

As Fahfee put it, if Gunit comes at them with "beef", mad soldiers are now alligned for a "termination" of careers. But if Carter camp does'nt respond, that will be the beginning of the demise of the G unit formula (Though it's debatable that Yayo's album effort has already started this. I'm still tryna find how to love "Curious Pimping" I'm tryning realy hard. MOP doin' that Yayo hand thing just does'nt look right.-My HUMBLE OPINION AS A hip hop fan).

However, the person most hurt by this is GAME. If beefing is the new "wackness". & Beefing with Fiddy is the opnkly reason he's still in the headlines. It's a wrap.

As for G Unit should they not go the beef angle...well....they do have options of continuosly making tracks like Candy Shop "Clickity clank" , Just a lil bit "Clickity clank", On fire "clickity clank". So really, they're not necessarily screwed.

I the Watcher say there's too much pride in this isht for aat least Jada not to say soemthing. Even Nas himself, b4 we get back to this beef isht.

Looks like the REAl losers are Mobb Deep here..they could have been on that stage part of hip hop history but are on 50 d*ck instead making mediocre (sp) music

In fact I think this photo was editted... Look at his 'bling-bling' the image was sharpened a bit too much.. So why not add a little tatoo in and blurr it a little to make it seem real. Don't believe he'd put that on his arm.
